First and foremost, I'd like to call attention to the website: www.speeddemosarchive.com. Speed Demos Archive is a website dedicated to "speedrunning", that is, completing video games as fast as possible. For those who know me, you know I'm a big fan of speed runs. I like watching them and I love making them.


I've made this blog because I think this will be a good opportunity to keep everyone up to date with what I'm doing in the gaming world.

I guess I will start out by talking about my most recent, notable video game accomplishment. Back in December 2011, I (almost randomly) broke my own world record time for Super Mario Bros. The time to beat now is 4 minutes and 58 seconds! I honestly don't think this time will ever be broken. My current run is a result of patience, dedication, and confidence in my own abilities. I am really not sure how I pulled this one off.
